Justin Baldoni Forced To Move Across Country During Blake Lively Battle -- Because Her Lawyers Allegedly Did THIS Twice!

Justin Baldoni is trying to turn the page… but it sounds like the drama isn’t done with him just yet!

After spending the last two years at the center of an incredibly messy legal battle with Blake Lively, the It Ends With Us star is rebuilding his life far away from Hollywood.

Ya see, Baldoni and his wife Emily have packed up their family and relocated from Ojai, California, all the way to Nashville, Tennessee, in hopes of finding a little more peace and privacy after everything they’ve been through.

The move comes not long after the couple finally broke their silence in an emotional Instagram video, where they opened up about the pain and “injustice” they say they’ve experienced throughout the IEWU legal saga.

And according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail this week about it, that public statement was NOT some carefully orchestrated media strategy. Instead, it was apparently a spur-of-the-moment decision because Justin simply wanted to get everything off his chest so he could eventually return to living a more normal life.

The insider also explained why it made sense for Emily to appear alongside her husband in the video, saying:

“They’re a strong unit and they’ve navigated it together, so it makes sense for them to speak out together. She’s been impacted too and they’ve gone through the wringer together. Seeing her husband falsely accused and then seeing this woman have her case dismissed and then she’s still going out and saying she’s advocating for victims — it’s been tough to watch.”

Wow.

Interesting, right? Well, sure — but here’s no doubt the BIGGEST revelation involves why the family decided to leave California behind: according to the same DailyMail.com source, Baldoni and Emily were especially concerned about protecting their two children after their home address was allegedly doxxed twice by Lively’s legal team during the legal fight.

Wait, WHAT?!?! And TWICE?!?!

The insider claimed:

“It was just [that] they have kids and wanted to make sure they had some privacy and that they got away from the noise,’ the insider explained. I don’t think anyone wanted to live through what everyone has had to live through of this public spectacle. It did not need to become this at all.”

Wow…!

The couple’s emotional IG video also offered fans a rare glimpse into how deeply this entire ordeal has affected them. Emily admitted there was “so much to say,” but explained that they weren’t ready to share every detail just yet. Justin agreed, saying they wouldn’t be saying it all right now, while Emily emphasized that despite feeling grateful for many things, those feelings don’t erase what they believe has happened over the past several years.

She went on to question how the situation unfolded the way it did, adding that it had been especially difficult watching what she described as the situation being presented as a fight for women.

Even though Justin appears eager to move forward with life in Tennessee, his legal battle with Lively still isn’t completely behind him. After all, one of the remaining disputes centers on legal fees — with Lively seeking roughly $8.3 million to cover attorney costs following the dismissal of significant portions of Baldoni’s defamation claims.

A source close to Baldoni reacted bluntly to the reported request, saying:

“It’s just incredible. She’s asking for $8 million on just one portion of the defamation claim. I think they’re asking for way too much.”

Meanwhile, Baldoni’s attorney, Ellyn Garofalo, has also pushed back in court, reportedly describing the fee request as excessive while arguing that the legal billing reflects unnecessary overstaffing and duplicated work. Judge Lewis Liman is expected to decide the issue after reviewing the filings, but for now both sides remain stuck waiting for the next chapter in this long-running courtroom battle.

As for whether fans should expect Justin to speak publicly about Blake or the lawsuit again anytime soon, well, it doesn’t sound like he’s in any rush. According to the same DM source:

“Honestly, time will tell. I think he’s just definitely ready to start moving on with his life. They themselves said that there’ll be time to say more eventually. But for now, they’re just enjoying living their lives.”

Whether this latest legal dispute over attorney fees marks the final chapter remains to be seen. But after two years of headlines, accusations, and courtroom clashes, it certainly sounds like Justin and Emily are hoping their cross-country move is the beginning of a much quieter future.
