On Alec Baldwin’s morning WNYC podcast Here’s the Thing today, Alec chatted up Saturday Night Live EP Lorne Michaels about the upcoming season and who people can look forward to seeing as host. While Lorne stayed pretty mum, Alec ran his mouth off, listing all the names he saw on “the board” in Lorne’s office. Among the big surprises were Jonah Hill and, drumroll please, Justin Bieber!
While Jonah will merely act as host, Justin will pull double-duty as the music guest and host, like so many pop performers before him. (Always remember Britney Spears circa 2000!)
But what an exciting opportunity for him, huh? We remember he did a few sketches with Tina Fey last year when she hosted and he was just the musical guest. He was pretty funny. He had decent timing. Hell, you know what? He can totally pull this off!
We’re on board for this! Have at it, Biebs!
Now, when is Justin Timberlake coming????
