Fans have already guessed this based on their messy social media activity these days… but now a source is spilling deets on Justin and Hailey Bieber‘s allegedly toxic romance!
There have been a ton of reports about the couple facing marriage issues lately. Even though the model tried to use her time in Vogue‘s cover story on Tuesday to insist everything’s A-OK in the relationship, the pop star only made things worse by choosing to reveal he once told her she’d “never be on the cover” of the famous fashion magazine during a fight. Some way to congratulate her!

In light of this, a source close to the A-listers told DailyMail.com on Wednesday that the Rhode founder’s gotten used to this confrontational behavior. Their issues may be more in the spotlight now, but it’s nothing new for them behind the scenes. The insider explained:
“Justin and Hailey get into fights, and Justin goes for the low hanging fruit to try to win arguments, to make Hailey feel bad, and it works.”
Brutal. It seems that’s exactly what he did with the Vogue argument, and he knows it. In his Instagram caption, he said he “felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even” when he made the admittedly “mean” jab. He’s since deleted the caption, perhaps realizing it was equally as harsh to reveal this on her big day. He just can’t help putting his foot in his mouth these days…
Breaking down the tense dynamic further, the confidant continued:
“As much as they are in love, there are plenty of times that they are at each other’s throats. Hailey has been mad at him plenty of times, and it will happen again and again. She comes around and forgives him.”
The source went so far as to claim that Justin’s erratic and often unkind (at least towards his wife) behavior is actually super standard for him! It’s the side of him Hailey has ALWAYS seen! Really?? They dished:
“She will let him do what he needs to do and will accept his apology. The Justin we see now is the Justin that Hailey has seen all along, and she feels like she can always fix him. Good or bad, it is a never ending circle.”
Jeez. This sounds awful! But, according to the source, this is a pivotal part of the relationship:

Dang. That’s not a flex! But we guess if Hailey’s so used to this, it might not be the straw that breaks the camel’s back… at least, not yet.
