Huzzahs all around, ’cause news broke Sunday that Jennifer Aniston had accepted her leather jacketed, sex-on-a-stick beau Justin Theroux’s wedding proposal!! Again, bucketfuls of congratulations and good tidings for you both!
BUT, Justin did NOT secure the favor of Jennifer Aniston’s father John Aniston before popping the question!
When the press reached out to Jen’s papa following the joyous news, John was actually taken aback, saying:
├óΓé¼┼ôIt├óΓé¼Γäós the first I├óΓé¼Γäóve heard about it. It├óΓé¼Γäós a surprise to me. I├óΓé¼Γäóll have to look online…”
Ha!
We get not accepting the old world tradition of requiring the father of your hopeful fiancee-to-be to grant permission for a proposal, but not telling him at all?! Not even AFTER the actual event, when you’ve already issued an ‘official’ statement so that the internetz is all a-buzzing?!
OUCH to Jen’s Daddy!
We would think he’s a bit miffed, finding out about a MAJOR decision in his daughter’s life via the world wide web…
But we’re sure he’s still THRILLED by the amorous declaration! Yaaaay for love!!
