If you haven’t heard, Justin Timberlake is under intense scrutiny after being photographed holding hands with a costar over the weekend.
No, the former N*SYNC singer and Alisha Wainwright weren’t filming on their new movie Palmer at the time — this was at a New Orleans bar, definitely after hours. The two appeared to be drinking and getting a little too familiar, including her hand on his knee, his hand interlocked with hers.
It’s not the Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders photos, but it’s not exactly innocent either!

Multiple sources immediately jumped to JT’s defense (or one source speaking to multiple outlets…), telling Us Weekly:
“Several cast members were there and it was just a cast gathering. Nothing remotely romantic is going on with Justin and Alisha. The whole cast is shooting out there and like to hang out together. They were very much in public and nothing inappropriate was happening.”
And attesting to E! News:
“There is absolutely nothing going on between them. They were out with all the cast, crew, makeup artists, and everyone was just hanging out in a social setting. They are just working together. No validity to any other rumor other than that they are filming together.”
However, no one is really buying that.
We mean, how would YOU feel if you saw pics like that of your hubby and his coworker — who is seven years younger than you, btw.
That’s what everyone is wondering about Jessica Biel right now.
JT and Jessica have been #CoupleGoals for years, but this is the kind of transgression that can throw all that in the trash.
And one source is now admitting to E! News it’s not “absolutely nothing.” The insider says:
“They are downplaying everything and trying to laugh it off as nothing. But it was definitely inappropriate and something that would make any wife uncomfortable. He had too much to drink and got carried away.”
OK, to Jessica is “uncomfortable.” Is that all?
The insider assures stans of the couple they are “going to move on from this.”
“Their marriage will survive. He feels guilty and will make it up to her. She is very good to him and he knows how lucky he is. He says it was not a big deal, they were all hanging out together and that’s the end of the story.”
Hmm. Is anyone else seeing two stories there?
On the one hand, there’s the admitting it crossed the line and the feeling guilty — and at the same time there’s him saying it was nothing??
Hand-holding isn’t nothing, and we all know it. It may not be cheating, but it is hugely inappropriate and every time someone calls it “not a big deal” it feels a bit like gaslighting to us. Super sketch.
