Kaia Gerber Snaps Sexy Bikini Pic To Show Off Broken Wrist After 'Little Accident'

Kaia Gerber is staying positive despite a recent injury amid the pandemic!

On Saturday, the 18-year-old snapped a selfie in teeny green bikini and showed off the nearly arm-long blue cast she received after breaking her wrist!

Along with the pic (above) and a second of her X-ray, she wrote:

“Had a little accident but i’m okay!”

Obviously, the comments section of her Instagram post was filled with well wishes from friends and fans, including Lisa Rinna, Ellen Pompeo, and Meadow Walker, who respectively penned:

“Oh no!!!!! ❤️”

“Oh no”

“Heal baby heal??”

But on Sunday, she discovered a silver lining: being able to use her cast as a “book stand” for an afternoon of reading by the pool!

In her last live book club discussion on Friday, Gerber opened up about her injury — though did not divulge details — while chatting with mom Cindy Crawford:

“I want to talk about this week’s uninvited guest, which is my cast. I actually broke my wrist yesterday. I was in a little bit of an accident. Thankfully I am OK, everyone is OK, and this is the worst of the injuries so I feel very grateful. And I’m not gonna let it stop me from talking about this week’s book, but it is going to be joining us for the next couple of book clubs.”

After diving into more deets of the book Where The Crawdads Sing, the 54-year-old icon later explained how her daughter’s broken wrist has changed their mother-daughter dynamic:

“Since we’re talking about mother/daughter relationships and just in general, like you are at that age where, you know, you’re totally pretty much launched. You’re very independent, but then yesterday you broke your wrist. You had the cast and all of a sudden, you need help doing everything.”

Gerber agreed with her model momma, adding:

“I’ve always… like, really prided myself on being very independent and doing everything by myself. And to have to ask for help is a new thing for me.”

We’re sure this is no fun to deal with, but at least it’s happening during a pandemic when she’s not missing out on much anyway! And judging by her latest selfie, she’s clearly still living her best life!

Sitting poolside doesn’t sound so bad to us…
