Kaley Cuoco is not ashamed to say she and Karl Cook have an “unconventional marriage”!
As fans will know, the Big Bang Theory star tied the knot with her 28-year-old husband at a ranch in San Diego last year. Since then, the two have enjoyed nothing but marital bliss — just not while living in the same house!
That’s right. In a page straight from Gwyneth Paltrow’s playbook, the 33-year-old actress and her hubby are consciously not living together.
Well, at least for now!

In a new interview with E! News, Cuoco explained:
“We are building our dream house, we are going to be under the same roof forever.”
But until that dream house is finished, the couple are apparently keeping their living situations separate from one another.
Like Gwynny, Cuoco doesn’t seem to mind the distance between her and her future domestic partner. In fact, she said the unique living situation is working well for them so far!
She added:
“We have a very unconventional marriage, you know, we have different locations that we are at a lot. We are not together every single day… I think, personally, it’s important and it works well for us.”
Whatever works best!
One great part about their living situation, according to Kaley, is how it allows them to “Instagram shame” each other on a regular basis. She mused:
“If you want to Instagram shame each other, Instagram shame each other… It just makes life really fun. He loves Instagram posts, he’s his biggest fan.”
We guess IG shaming your significant other turns into IG nagging when you live with them?

The actress — who was previously married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016 — recently revealed while she isn’t quite ready to be a mom yet, she and Karl are very much planning to have children.
She told ET at the time:
“I’m definitely – I’m not there yet. I’m not quite there yet but I know that I will be ’cause I love kids… But I’m a worker bee right now – kind of my career is my focus and my husband. But, we love kids and we love animals so we’re meant to have children.”
We’re sure the kids will come after they finish that dream house of theirs!
