Tourism Australia has a great sense of humor… while many Facebookers apparently do not.
They posted a pic (above) of a kangaroo, lounging back, enjoying the beautiful Australian weather.
They also blurred out his enormous genitals! LOLz!
They posted the pic and wrote:
“Enjoying a lazy afternoon at Featherdale Wildlife Park. *Censored for Facebook.”
Ha! We all know you can’t be waving your genitals around on Facebook├óΓé¼┬ª but animals??
The post has over 30,000 “likes” and has over 1,600 comments.
Some of the negative comments read:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós ridiculous that the reproductive organs of an animal are blurred out. How many sickos out there think this is sexual. Society sickens me.”
And:
“You have just lost ALL my respect. I shall now remove the link to you, good bye, oh, and grow up. I was brought up in my teens in Australia : You do not represent the Australia I knew and loved.”
Okay… people are clearly taking things WAY too seriously!
It was just a joke, you guys!
Def a great way to get people talking about Australia, though. Nice publicity stunt! A+!
