After a screening of his short film Runway this week, Kanye West gave a determined interview to he set the record straight on persistent rumors.
Although he’s got a new album on the way, Kanye said that he took four months off after last years’ VMAs “to get away from the celebrity and paparazzi” in order to “rebuild his brand.”
He also compared the his relationship of Michael Jackson with a scene from Iron Man 2 where the father hands over power to the son.
‘Nye truly believes that the two shared energy and that he “had to keep this thing going”.
“I feel extra convicted with the passing of Michael Jackson,” said the rapper.
And Kanye may do another movie! Considering he got Nicki Minaj to narrate the opening of Runway in a British accent, he has connections, but he does not think they are enough for a career in film.
“I could never do Hollywood – it’s too political. But I would like to work with George Lucas – serious,” he added.
