We all were hoping that the Bound 2 video was a joke (just watch it) and it seems this is exactly what Kanye West WANTED everyone to think!
Which is a good thing because there’s already been a HIGHlarious parody made by James Franco & Seth Rogen!
Ye was giving a radio interview this morning, and when asked about the video and its “cheesiness,” he told them that’s exactly how he wanted it!
Not only that, but he also said the video is supposed to show comparisons to the Hunger Games.
Yep! Kanye said:
“I wanted to take white trash t-shirts and make it into a video. I wanted it to look as phony as possible. I wanted the clouds to go in one direction, the mountains to go in another, the horses to go over there. I wanted to show that this is the Hunger Games. This is the type of imagery that’s being presented to all of us, the only difference is there’s a black dude in the middle of it… I ain’t got a problem with looking stupid.”
Errr… not entirely sure your Hunger Games comparison is on point there, Yeezus.
Pretty positive Josh Hutcherson doesn’t go riding around Panem on a motorcycle with a naked Jennifer Lawrence straddling him…unless that part is on the special edition DVD?
But we totally agree that this video is clearly SUPPOSED to look stupid! All you have to do is watch it to see that!
