Well, that was quick!
In January, Dancing With The Stars veteran Karina Smirnoff got engaged to her actor boyfriend, Jason Adelman, after they reconnected at a party last December.
But the couple’s waltz ended shortly after it began. It’s now being reported that Jason has called off the engagement!
Sources close with the 37-year-old actor say that the Ukranian dancer had “different family values” than he did. Also, he didn’t like how Karina acted around other men!

Adelman’s lack of trust could also be due to the fact that he thinks all dancers have “sexually charged lives”. Maybe he didn’t have enough stamina to keep up with the DWTS pro?
This will mark Smirnoff’s third engagement that didn’t pan out. Her previous fianc├â┬⌐s include fellow dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and MLB pitcher, Brad Penny.
The TV star’s rep regards her now ex-fiance’s alleged claims as, “disrespectful and insulting to the entire dance community,” and “nothing less than an attempted smear campaign from a malicious person.”
The dancer reportedly returned her massive engagement ring, and while she isn’t on the new season of DWTS, she did write a book called, We’re Just Not That Into You: Dating Disasters From the Trenches — which she’ll surely be busy promoting!
After this incident, she may already have material for a new chapter or two!
