Karl Rove Was Offended By Clint Eastwood's Commercial

Karl Rove clearly doesn’t know who he’s messing with!
In a stretch to get attention, he’s decided that he was offended by Clint Eastwood‘s Super Bowl commercial, which is being ranked as the best one to be aired this year!
So, what is it exactly that lights a fire under his grasping-at-air-butt?
Here’s what he said:

“I was, frankly, offended by it. I’m a huge fan of Clint Eastwood, I thought it was an extremely well-done ad, but it is a sign of what happens when you have Chicago-style politics, and the president of the United States and his political minions are, in essence, using our tax dollars to buy corporate advertising and the best-wishes of the management which is benefited by getting a bunch of our money that they’ll never pay back.”

Ugh. Really?
You really want to take a positive message and say you’re offended by it? How did you get into the position you’re in again?
If you ask us, we’d be lucky to have Mr. Eastwood give us motivating speeches EVERY day!
It’s ridiculous to think this was an Obama re-election ad. Flat-out, and a stretch so big that it’s laughable. Did you forget, Karl, about when Bush had that little $17.4 billion bailout of auto companies, including Chrysler, back in 2008? Why no mention of that?
Or maybe you didn’t know that Eastwood, who has been referred to as an economical conservative and social liberal (and supported McCain in 2008), said this:

“We shouldn’t be bailing out the banks and car companies. If a CEO can’t figure out how to make his company profitable, then he shouldn’t be the CEO.”

Think before you speak, Rove, especially if all that thinking is dedicated to making stuff up and pointing at things that aren’t there.
Did U feel like the add was political, or just an uplifting message (and a little bit about sellin’ cars?)??
