Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to turn probably one of the world’s most famous dolls into a real fashion icon!
In honor of Barbie‘s 50th anniversary, toy maker Mattel is “introducing” the doll into the fashion industry.
This month, Barbie and Ken will be on display at France’s Colette boutique. But, making the occasion even more special, Unkle Karl Lagerfeld is dressing the dolls that will be displayed in the windows of the famed Paris boutique.
The exhibit will start on March 9th and last through the 28th.
They’ll even be a whole week in March when the store will display the first ever Barbie and Ken dolls created.
Barbie will be dressed by Lagerfeld in everything from dresses to swimsuits, jeans, and even a Chanel suit.
Those little doll dresses would probably still cost more than the average person could spend on a real dress.
That lucky Barbie bitch!
