Karol G's Management Allegedly Goes After Fan Account For Making Up Bisexual Rumors -- Read The Fan's Apology

Karol G Fan Account Issues Apology After Fake Coming Out Post! Did The Singer's Team Reach Out??

Oh boy… It sounds like this fan account got in big trouble!

On X (Twitter), a Brazilian fan account for Colombian superstar Karol G stirred up quite the mess. On Monday, the account that is a self-proclaimed “collection of dubious humor” made a fake coming out tweet, announcing Karol had told the world she was bisexual. The only problem? This was NOT at all true — and some news outlets took it as fact! OMG!

Several outlets reported on the fake news, leading tons of people into being fooled that the TQG singer had seriously come out as bisexual. And later that day, the fan account who started the rumor even posted screenshots that allege Karol’s team with her Bichota Records reached out and told them to take the post down.

The alleged messages said in translation from Spanish:

“Hello. That information is false. We know that you are a Brazilian humor account, but don’t spread certain information that way. We ask you to retract publicly.”

Now, we obviously don’t know if this is a real screenshot or real messages. But either way, the account issued an apology anyway! On Monday night, the fan account wrote a huge public apology and retracted their original post. They said:

“We want to offer our most sincere apologies for the recent post. We acknowledge that we have crossed the line of respect in addressing personal and sensitive topics related to the artist’s sexuality. We wish to reiterate that this profile serves as an entertainment archive and not as an informational medium. Our posts are intended for recreational or satirical purposes, so they should not be interpreted as real facts. In this regard, we clarify that the speculations about Carolina’s bisexuality are entirely false.”

They also asked news outlets to retract their own reporting of the rumor:

“Likewise, we make a call to the media and news pages: we earnestly ask that you verify the origin and accuracy of the information before sharing it. An “archive” (fan account) is not a journalistic source, and spreading content without prior confirmation only fosters misinformation. We apologize to the fans and to all the people who felt affected.”

Wrapping up, they apologized to Bichota Records, as well:

We would also like to apologize to Karol G’s team, @bichotarecords

Oh man…

Absolutely WILD. But it just goes to show you — don’t believe everything you read! And always fact-check your sources!
