Ugh this is just tragic!
Before Kat Von D and Deadmau5‘s recent romantic split, the tatted lovers were featured in the December issue of Inked magazine, where they posed together and showed off their matching tattoos…

The pictures are heartbreaking, but not as much as Kat’s hopeful thoughts on love, specifically concerning her and the mixmasters’ relationship.
Kat gushes:
“I think I had been living in a state of longing and didn├óΓé¼Γäót even realize it. One thing is to dream and wish for a love├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥a true and noble one├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥but it is a very different thing to actually live it, without feeling like you├óΓé¼Γäóre trying to make something happen that really isn├óΓé¼Γäót there. I├óΓé¼Γäóve always believed in this kind of real love, but now I don├óΓé¼Γäót see it as an imaginary idea.”
Aw Kat!!
And what makes this even WORSE is rumor has it the reason the couple split is because of Deadmau5’s infidelity!
Sadface. Although we guess Kat dodged a cheating bullet there!
Within the Inked feature, Kat shows off a new tattoo that holds significance to the electronica DJ, reading: 289m3d22h. Kat also has a myriad of tats from former flames, and when asked about them, Kat explained:
“I have a few i look forward to lazering off.”
And that’s why it’s NEVER a good idea to tattoo a lovers’ name or something related to them on your body, kiddies!
Ah well, good riddance Deadmau5! And we just hope Kat finds that real, honest love she thought she had found with Mau5. Siiighhhh.
