Kat Von D has gotten into a social media feud with a follower who called her out for lack of diversity in her team of makeup artists.

It was this photo (below) featuring the 34-year-old’s employees that ignited the clash of opinions:
DALLAS!! We’re coming for you!!! For those coming to @themakeupshow, make sure to drop by the KvD Beauty booth and say hi to our beautiful artistry team: @kelseyannaf @risadexter @janeenersss @jessicahazemua @sstrazzere @juscallmetara @ginafrey @iamleah And don’t forget: we’ll be selling Tattoo Liner, Ink Liner, Lock-it Collection, and more! {with a 30% discount!} September 24+25!!A photo posted by Kat Von D Beauty (@katvondbeauty) on Sep 21, 2016 at 12:00pm PDT
Unfortunately, Kat did not see the error of her ways even after having it explained to her by the follower and others. Instead she doubled down, saying that she doesn’t “judge or hire people based on their skin tone” and that she doesn’t care “if your black white or neon green.”
You’re missing the point, girl!
She also called out the follower in question for having light skin and daring to speak on behalf of people with darker skin, which makes NO SENSE whatsoever.

Other people chimed in to further explain the issue to the tattoo artist and makeup mogul:
We hope Kat reads these comments carefully and thinks about what people are saying instead of jumping straight on the defensive. She can really learn from this experience if she so chooses.
Thoughts???
