Give it all you’ve got, Jon Gosselin, but this war you have waged against your ex-wife will prove to be a failure.
She doesn’t sweat you and the rest of America is still on her side!
The news that Jon is going after Kate Gosselin for full custody is widespread news now and Kate is more than prepared to defend herself from anyone who would judge her role as a mother. Once again, she explains that her gig on Dancing With The Stars is nothing more than a job to her and she is nothing more than a mother trying to provide for her kids:
“Maybe because I’m in front of the camera so much and people see where I am – I’m in LA. I’m in New York. I’m here or there – the bottom line is I’m just doing what every other mom is doing. They just don’t have cameras following them so people can’t keep tabs on how many hours a day they spend with their kids. I have to do it. I have eight kids. It’s not a joke, it’s the truth. I have to provide for them.”
Meanwhile, while she finds herself in the midst of her ex-husband’s shenanigans, she also is constantly bombarded with rumors of being a full on diva on the set of Dancing With The Stars. Her co-stars are on the defense on that end, like co-host Brooke Burke, who insists that Kate is nothing but cordial to the whole crew. She says:
“It’s really interesting. I haven’t seen anything from Kate other than loveliness and happiness and kindness. I think she’s really frightened and she’s going through a lot of stress on the show. I want her to pull through this and succeed, I really do. I want her to conquer this for her own self as a woman and as a mother.”
And so she shall – until there really isn’t anyone left to justify voting off instead of her and then she has to go! We give that about two more weeks!
