But Kate Gosselin sure seems to believe in its value!
The reality mommy is planning a mini-comeback with her new miniseries Kate Plus Eight: Sextuplets Turn 10, and one clip has already been shared with the world!
In it, Kate shows off the lessons she’s learned after a few years of raising eight children as a single parent, and one of her tricks of the trade is her effective form of teaching her kids right from wrong.
Even if the punishment doesn’t always seem to fit the crime!
In the short clip, Kate admits that she has bought her teens iPads and cellphones, but not because she think they should have them – but rather it’s something for her to take away when she feels they are not acting right.
She said:
“I got those girls cell phones and iPads so that I could take them away. Yes, indeedy. And I’ve learned I’m not the only parent of teens who has discovered that little gem.”
Wow! Not sure if we agree with that logic there. We definitely think it’s OK to punish kids by taking away their iPads when they’re doing something wrong, but we’re not sure we would buy them those items just to teach them a lesson!
Kate must read the Bible a lot because she definitely seems to love to giveth and then taketh away!
