Kate Gosselin doesn’t plan to spend any more time sticking up for herself against the allegations from her son Collin.
In case you missed it, the 22-year-old former reality star announced he is releasing a tell-all memoir called In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood in October. He promises to expose all about the horrors he faced growing up, including the alleged abuse from Kate. His mother hasn’t been too thrilled about the book! She even revealed to fans after the announcement that she considered taking legal action against Collin! Whoa!

Kate now has more to say on the matter! Or more like, she wants everyone to know she doesn’t feel like she has to defend herself ahead of the book! One follower wrote in the comments of a TikTok video posted on Tuesday to “stay strong in your truth,” and Kate replied:
“Thanks. It’s THE absolute truth. And I don’t feel I need to defend myself or put it all out there!”
Soooo, we shouldn’t expect her to do a 20-part response series about any of the allegations in the memoir? Or her dropping receipts? That is, if she has them. Got it. We’ll see if she actually stays silent when the book comes out in a few months. Another person commented:
“Truth always finds it [sic] way to the surface.”
And the 51-year-old television personality responded:
“Sure does!”
