Kate Mara is only 5’3″ but you wouldn’t know it based on this photo!
Her legs and torso on the cover of Women’s Health actually look pretty long, even in her crouched position!

The former House of Cards star does make a convincing case for pairing strappy heels with a mesh crop top and tiny workout shorts!
In addition to showing off her toned, svelte body, the actress talks about how important her profession is to her:
“If I wasn’t acting, I would be dead. I would die. I can’t imagine doing anything else. I have no backup plan, so I’d be screwed.”
She actually wouldn’t need a backup plan money-wise, since she comes from a very wealthy football dynasty — her uncle John Mara is the current co-owner of the New York Giants, and her great-grandfather Tim Mara was the team’s founder.
The 31-year-old also has ties to the Pittsburgh Steelers on her mother’s side of the family!
All that is beside the point, however, since Kate (and her sister Rooney Mara!) has found success in the acting industry, and will next appear as Sue Storm in the upcoming The Fantastic Four reboot.
In case you forgot, the last installment featuring Jessica Alba as Sue Storm was released in 2005.
Pretty soon we’ll only have five years between a film and its reboot!
