Kate Middleton‘s baby hasn’t even been born yet, but the little bun in the oven is already getting a royal title!
Officials from Buckingham Palace recently announced that depending on the gender or the baby, Kate and Prince William‘s baby will receive the official title of……
…His or Her Royal Highness Prince or Princess of Cambridge!
How fancy!!!
Former mayor of Cambridge Sheila Stuart added to the exciting news by saying the royal baby would be the very first prince or princess of the british town:
“When we did a lot of research after it was first announced that the couple were to get the title, nothing like that was found. There were some dukes of Cambridge but not a prince or princess.”
If you can believe it, the exciting news doesn’t even stop there!
British Prime Minister David Cameron says that if Kate ends up having a girl, her title of princess would eventually be upgraded to queen!!
He says:
“Put simply, if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were to have a little girl, that girl would one day be our queen.”
Wow! That’s going to be one powerful baby!
Of course, we’ll be excited no matter what the gender of Kate and William’s baby is, but we have to admit it would be pretty exciting to see a future queen being born!
