Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s romance wasn’t always a fairy tale!
The expectant royals headed to splitsville in 2007 after four years canoodling, but what drove them to their temporary break up??!
In the new book, Kate, author Michael O’Mara explained:
“When his father Charles was wooing Diana and the relationship reached a crossroads, Prince Philip told him that he needed to take action one way or another. And Charles proposed. When William was faced with a similar dilemma he went the other way.”
WHAT??! Our perfect prince??!
Prince Charming dealt with the thought of lifelong commitment with the near-perfect future princess by clubbing and flirting it up with dozens of British babes.
Thankfully, our gurl knew how to fight back with what her mama gave her. While Kate’s known for her demure and sophisticated style, she flaunted her assets to get back her man.
The new book revealed:
“Her dresses grew shorter, her tops lower… Once inside a party she put on a pair of pink silk bunny ears and proceeded, as one partygoer put it, to ‘tease all the boys.’”
And that, ladies and gentleman, is how it is DONE.
Paired with Kate’s bod, William sealed the deal after Daddy spilled on his own regrets over losing his first lady love, Camilla, because of cold, blue blooded feet.
Phew! We always knew we liked that Prince Charles! LOLz!
And their reconciliation was as romantic as we dreamed it up to have been.
The book continues:
“Kate and William had a lot to discuss, and some lost time to make up for. In September, they flew to the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. At night they relaxed over a candlelit supper on the beach. It was during this break that they made an agreement with each other. For the next few years, they would work and enjoy their lives, knowing that at some point when the time was right, they would be husband and wife ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and perhaps parents too.”
Too adorbzies, right??!
Thank goodness William came to his senses because even though the baby hasn’t arrived yet and we’re almost as in love with him/her as we are with Kate.
Guess everything really DOES happen for a reason!
