Kate Middleton's Parents Still Helping With The Wedding, To The Tune Of A Large Sum

It was a while back when we first let you know that the Middleton Parents wanted to help out with her daughter’s wedding, as per usual tradition, even if the wedding itself is nothing but unusual for the normal, non-royal family!

Which is a sweet gesture, if not kinda unnecessary these days if the groom is loaded and also a prince!

We now know a roundabout number of their contribution: £100 large. A.K.A. £100,000!

That’s quite a bit of change, even if it pales in comparison to how much the wedding will actually cost (upwards of ├é┬ú10 mil)!

Here are some things that they’ll be covering:

Hotel suites, bridal gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses, the maid of honour’s outfit and the honeymoon are all set to be covered by the Middleton’s.

Then there is the Prince Charles-hosted disco at Buckingham Palace to cover, which will form part of the evening reception, in addition to honeymoon contributions.

The hotel bill alone for family and friends to stay at the Goring hotel in Belgravia, where one-room suited cost £1,140 each, is expected to exceed £20,000.

Kate’s bridal gowns are thought to have cost at least ├é┬ú30,000, with sister and maid of honour Pippa’s dress another adding another ├é┬ú20,000 to the bill.

Of course, the exact number hasn’t been released because that’s a “private matter,” but it’s not hard to do that math when you’ve got some specifics.

Looks like this wedding is shaping up to be something pretty spectacular!

We hope all of the planning is coming together, Kate!
