Supermodel Kate Moss rarely does interviews and now we know why!
T magazine recently interviewed the 36 year old about her upcoming photo exhibit at Miami’s Pulse Art Fair, when she was asked:
One of the reasons I think you are so adaptable and malleable is that you very rarely talk. You’re like Garbo. Is that a conscious decision so that people can project whatever fantasies on you?
“No, I just hate it. When I used to do interviews a long time ago, I used to get very ill just worrying about them before they came out. I just didn├óΓé¼Γäót like it.
When I first started out I did press because I wasn’t really aware that they would write something really horrible but then they did, and I was like: “Oh no, I don’t want to go back there. I don’t really want to open up myself to that kind of criticism.”
And I think that a lot of the time you walk in a room they already know what they want to write about you, so it doesn├óΓé¼Γäót matter what you├óΓé¼Γäóre like. But sometimes I will do it if I like the person or the project.”
Fair enough.
The silent treatment has apparently worked well for Kate, so keep doing you, ‘bb!
