In the latest issue of People magazine, reality TV’s favorite ice-cold mother, Kate Gosselin, opens up about the recent scandal surrounding her and husband Jon – and how even though she’s hoping for the best, the worst might be yet to come.
She says, “I don’t know that we’re in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing. I’ve been struggling with the question of ‘Who is this person?’ for a while.”
Them are some fighting words!
Kate also recalls the first time she heard the name of her husband’s supposed mistress, Deanna Hummel, saying, “I remember where I was the first time I heard her name. It’s one of those things where you can try to make it go away, but there’s blaring, red flashing lights.”
She likens considering divorce to the moment she found out she was pregnant with sextuplets, saying that at first it was “pure shock and denial,” but over time, “when your mind is ready to go there, you can accept any number of scenarios.”
Despite circumstances, Kate says, “I will never give up hope that every member of our family can be absolutely happy again.”
