As soon as the lightning bolt struck Richard Branson‘s dream home in the Caribbean, chaos ensued just the scene of a disaster movie.
That’s how Kate Winslet describes it. She says she kept waiting for someone to yell, “CUT!” but it never came.
Fortunately, nobody fell fatal to the huge fire, which completely destroyed Richards mansion.
Still in shock, Kate admits it’s an ordeal she will “never forget,” adding “it’s a miracle no one died.”
The movie star continues:
I├óΓé¼Γäóm just so glad that everyone is safe. And this very easily could not have been the case. I will never forget Richard placing his arms around both my children as we were watching the flames, and saying, ‘At the end of the day, what you realize is that all that matters is the people that you love. Everything else is just stuff. And none of that stuff matters.
Great attitude! It’s a horrible, horrible tragedy, and even if they’re just things, they’re still YOUR things with YOUR memories, but they’re right. It’s far better to lose objects than lives.
Then at least you get a chance to rebuild, and we have faith that won’t be something hard for them to do.
