Katherine Heigl's Children Are Growing Up SO FAST! Find Out How Motherhood Changed Her For The Best!!

She’s opening up about her family! And we’re so glad she is!
This Grey’s Anatomy actress recently sat down with Good Housekeeping for their September issue, and the momma had a lot to say!
When Katherine Heigl married Josh Kelley, the two knew they wanted to start a family — but when the couple adopted their daughter Naleigh, the momma found out how difficult it was to balance work and parenting!
Here’s what she said:

├óΓé¼┼ôI would come home angry and frustrated that I├óΓé¼Γäód missed everything with my kid that day. I didn├óΓé¼Γäót get to wake her up from her nap or do bath time or bedtime. I├óΓé¼Γäód have to sneak into her room and kiss her when she was sleeping, hoping not to wake her up…I felt like my priorities were messed up. I was putting so much time and energy into just my work, but I was raised [to believe] that family comes first.├óΓé¼┬¥

Locking in on parenthood was one of the reasons she decided to take a break from show business and Katherine liked it so much, she wanted another lil’ one! So the couple then adopted their daughter Adalaide, and Naleigh had A LOT to say about Katherine’s parenting techniques!
Here’s what the momma said:

├óΓé¼┼ôWe brought her home and right away Naleigh was like a little mommy. She├óΓé¼Γäód say, ├óΓé¼╦£No, no. You├óΓé¼Γäóre not holding her right.├óΓé¼Γäó Or, ├óΓé¼╦£She needs to eat again.├óΓé¼Γäó I├óΓé¼Γäód be like, ├óΓé¼╦£Would you back off? Just give me a minute!’….Naleigh would go off to her ballet classes and other stuff, and I would sit with the baby at home. I would read, and she would lie on my chest, and we├óΓé¼Γäód lie on the couch with, like, four dogs and watch Friday Night Lights.├óΓé¼┬¥

Aw! Sounds perf!
As for the future, Katherine isn’t done with adding to her family, yet! And she’s also debating a move to the mountains in Utah! Here’s what she said:

“We had big dreams of expanding our family, moving to the mountains and having a quieter life. Utah is spectacularly beautiful, the people are wonderful and kind, it’s an easy commute from L.A. — and there’s no traffic!”

Sounds like a dream!
