Uh-oh. This could get ugly.
The executors of Michael Jackson’s estate have sent Howard Mann, a business partner of Katherine Jackson, a cease and desist letter, claiming that he had been exploiting Michael’s image.
Howard has been at Katherine’s side through many MJ related ventures, including her new book, but the executors think that Howard has taken things too far. The breaking point for them came after they saw MJ’s image on banners to promote tonight’s “Unveiling of the Jackson Secret Vault Lithographic Collection” in Beverly Hills, an event that Katherine is scheduled to appear at.
This is a huge step into dangerous territory as it is the first time the executors of Michael’s estate have gone up against anyone associated with Katherine. Sources claim that this could be the beginning of a war between the two sides as the executors find themselves fed up with Katherine’s unauthorized ventures that are keeping money out of the estate, which benefits her grandchildren.
We can’t imagine that it is her wish to deny those children all and anything that is coming to them, but it still does sound a little fishy. We want to know more about this Howard guy! What’s his angle, you suppose?
