The struggle to take control of Michael Jackson‘s estate isn’t going to end any time soon!
Reports are now surafcing that Michael’s mom, Katherine Jackson, will be fighting to become an executor of his estate, though MJ did not appoint her to such a role.
Katherine’s lawyers have confirmed her attempt to be named executor.
Momma Jackson’s attorney said yesterday, “We think it’s important for the family to have a seat at the table.”
If it were that important, wouldn’t Michael have left her in charge? He obviously didn’t for a reason.
But the judge ruled that Katherine should have the right to challenge attorney John Branca and family friend John McClain, who are currently running things.
And it doesn’t end there. Turns out Katherine is also thinking about suing Michael’s shady doctor, Conrad Murray, who’s being investigated over the suspected overdose.
Katherine’s attorney didn’t deny the suit, but did add that “certainly Dr. Murray’s name has been floated.”
Hey, it can’t be easy raising three young kids on your own after retirement.
