What is WRONG with people?!?
On Tuesday in Laguna Niguel, CA, 46-year-old Kathia Maria Davis was sentenced for sexually assaulting two boys on her son’s hockey team.
She was charged for having sex with a 16-year-old four different times between July 2010 and July 2011, giving him alcohol, and encouraging him to drink with another young girl AT HER HOUSE!
But that’s not the first time this happened. During April 2006 to April 2008, Davis also engaged in sex acts with a 14-year-old boy at a SLEEPOVER!!!
So much for adult supervision!
Last August, she was found guilty of four felony counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with the 16-year-old, and two misdemeanors of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
For some reason, the jury couldn’t unanimously agree on the acts with the 14-year-old, so last month she plead out for four felony counts of lewd acts on a child, with regards to him.
So what did she get for all of this???
16 months in prison.
Horrible! Especially when you take into consideration what one of the victims was brave enough to share in court on Tuesday. His statement said:
“Holding all this in as a child forced me to grow up in ways I never wanted to. She took the things that I loved most and ripped them out of my life. I will never know what could have been.”
You can only hope that she’s learned her lesson, but since we can’t even fathom what would make someone do these things to a child, who really knows how she feels.
