So Taylor Swift IS a wedding crasher!
The country singer’s rep has denied any truth to Victoria Gifford Kennedy‘s claims that she refused to leave a wedding she wasn’t invited to, but Kathie Lee Gifford did a keg stand set the record straight during The Today Show.
The host of NBC‘s popular morning show was at the Kennedy wedding in question and can personally confirmed that Victoria “said very nicely, ‘Please do not come.'”
Listen to her side of the story (above) to get all the deets! It’s hard to argue with the woman who was actually present while all the dramz went down, but it sounds like Conor Kennedy deserves to bear more of the blame than Swifty.
Ya see, he had been asked to RSVP months before the event and he waited until “an hour before the wedding” to ask if it’s cool to bring his famous girlfriend.
Victoria then told Conor NOT to come, but he did anyway and brought the highest paid celebrity under the age of 30 with him!
Did anyone stop to think that maybe Mz. Swift had no idea that she wasn’t welcome in the first place???
Oh well. Live and learn is what they say!
Let’s just hope that any offended Kennedys can get past that one time they were forced to hang out with one of the biggest celebrities in the world.
Because who would want to do something like that, right? Ha!
