Desperate Housewives Actress Kathryn Joosten Has Passed Away.

Emmy Award-winning Kathryn Joosten, who, in a devastating case of life imitating art had us choking back tears during her character Karen McKluskey’s death scene on the series finale of Desperate Housewives, passed away in real life yesterday after losing her battle with lung cancer at the age of 72.
According to her rep, the actress – who was also known for her roles on The West Wing and Scrubs – was surrounded by her family in her Westlake Village home in El Lay at the time of her passing.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of her relatives, fans, and loved ones during this time.
