Everyone has gotta be well aware of Katie Couric‘s contract being up in June.
She’s experienced and still in demand, with a very strong following, and she’s going to have about a year and a half to fill starting in June if anybody wants to make her a sweet offer (which they will. they probably all will).
Why a year and a half, you ask?
Well, the rumor is that she might be eyeing a new show in the talk variety, filling a hole that Oprah is about to make with her final year.
That talk show opportunity would most likely be planned and baked to perfection and dropped on us in 2012, like we talked about earlier with Ricki Lake.
So, if the offer is right, she could be doing something brand new for the next year-point-five starting in June!
Expect to hear about what’s up officially in the next 4-5 weeks!
