It’s been a month since Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise, but it seems our gurl is doing anything but moping around Manhattan!
As we’ve been seeing from pics lately (below), Katie has been enjoying life as a single mother, raising little Suri in the big city!
In terms of Katie’s post-split well-being, a source recently stated:
“She’s doing really great. She’s so strong, she’s an independent girl with her own ideas. She is fine.”
Always good to hear!
While Holmes was expected to be in El Lay this past Saturday at the Dizzy Feet Foundation Gala, it looks as though she decided to sit this one out, to spend some more time with Suri on the east coast!
As we mentioned, the mommy-daughter duo ended up checking on the animals at the Bronx Zoo, followed by lunch at Pastis in the Meatpacking District!
We’re glad Katie is spending so much time ensuring that Suri is happy and shielded from any remaining divorce dramz!
It’s also relieving to know that Mz. Holmes is doing well without Tom — as we always had faith that she would!
