Katie Holmes is leaving the city that never sleeps for another coast — the west coast!
The Giver actress reportedly dropped $3.8 million dollars on a 6,000 square foot home in The Oaks, a community in Calabasas, California that is just crawling with other celebrities.
According to a source, Katie believed the move would make her closer to Hollywood, which means more acting gigs for her career, and to raise Suri in a city with more space.
It definitely makes more sense since the former Dawson’s Creek actress is getting back into the acting groove!
Apparently the cul-de-sac where the twosome now reside is filled with kids around Suri’s age. As if she wasn’t popular before!
Hopefully Katie received a warm welcome from her neighbors! We imagine Katie & Suri will be just fine in their new SoCal digs!
