Katie Holmes Talks Dance Garland Tribute


She better bring it!
Katie Holmes is psyched about her performance on So You Think You Can Dance‘s 100th episode on Thursday.
“I like to sing and dance so it is really fun,” says Holmes of her much talked about tribute to Judy Garland‘s Get Happy.
In the spot, directed by show producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe, and choreographed by Tyce Diorio, Holmes is lifted over three dancer’s heads.
For the finale, she reportedly throws her hat in the air to be caught by one of the male dancers.
We’re sure it will look better than just reading about it!!!
Katie agreed to make the appearance after becoming involved with the non-profit Dizzy Feet Foundation, which provides assistance to talented underprivileged youth.
“It is to give scholarships to these young kids,” says the star. “I think it is important to experience music and dancing and singing and the arts and sports. This is the next generation. I think it is important to give them every opportunity to grow and discover what it is that they like and to have access to the best. ”
