And it looks like Pharrell is gaining on KatyKat! The Despicable Me 2 soundtrack song actually went to #1 on the Digital Songs list with 329,000 downloads sold! It’s also sitting pretty in the top spot on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart!
Will next week be when Mr. Williams takes the crown from off of Katy’s head and puts it atop his ginormously fab hat??
Further down the list, You’re Mine (Eternal), which is Mariah Carey‘s first single off of her upcoming album, entered the charts at only #88 after being released last week!
This marks Mimi’s 46th single to hit the Hot 100 and she’s no stranger to the Top 10!
