Even though Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are no longer an item, they are still doing whatever it takes to co-parent their 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
Obviously we’re sad the 40-year-old singer and 48-year-old actor have decided to part ways. But thanks to their beautiful flower child they will still be in each other’s lives for years to come. And to hear one insider tell it now, it sounds like that part of the breakup is going as smoothly as possible.

Speaking to Us Weekly on Thursday, an insider noted the ex-couple is still in touch, and raising Daisy has now become their primary joint focus:
“They are still very much in touch and coparenting Daisy together.”
It’ll take some time for the fam to figure out its new normal, of course. The insider said just that, too — explaining how both exes are down to be flexible with logistics.
Need an example? Look no further than recent days. See, this week, Orlando is hangin’ at Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos‘ wedding festivities with Lauren Sanchez in Venice, Italy. But before this he was bringing Daisy to see her momma on Katy’s Lifetimes Tour!
The insider revealed:
“Orlando brought Daisy to meet Katy on tour before heading to the Bezos’ wedding. It’s not messy between them.”
Well, that’s nice.
The bigger picture is bright, too — at least when it comes to Daisy. The source revealed the former couple plans to keep their lives based in the SoCal beach town of Montecito, AKA the only place Daisy has known in her life. The insider reasoned:
“They aren’t making drastic changes for Daisy’s sake. They will keep their lives in Montecito. They are prioritizing stability and consistency for Daisy.”
We love to hear that! We have no doubt this must be tough for both Katy and Orlando to navigate. But it’s heartening to know that Daisy comes first.
Reactions, y’all?
