It’s no secret that conservatives sorta hate President Barack Obama. So much so that House republicans voted to SUE him this week.
Eye roll.
But last night, Barry O was shaking hands with one right-winger and they both seemed to be getting along great!

It was Katy Perry’s republican mom!!!
The President was introduced to Mary Hudson after KatyKat brought her along to last night’s White House dinner gala celebrating the 46th anniversary of the Special Olympics!
This is sort of a big deal, considering Katy REFUSED to allow her conservative Christian parents to attend Obama’s 2012 inauguration, which Miz Perry performed at!
But now, not only is the President being introduced to one of Katy’s parents, he’s speaking her praises!
Mr. Obama addressed the crowd last night, saying:
“We have just one of my favorite people performing tonight – Katy Perry. We are so grateful to her. I love Katy Perry. She is just a wonderful person. I’ve just met her mom and now I know why she is such a wonderful person.├óΓé¼┬¥
ZOMG. This is the greatest instance of bipartisanship EVER!
We’re so glad everyone could put politics aside in order to truly celebrate such a wonderful organization!
