Katy Perry rode her Dark Horse all the way to the top! The Princess of Pop is back at number one on the Billboard Top 100!!!
This is already the cupcake diva’s second chart topper from Prism and her ninth to date!!! Wow!! That’s straight up AMAZEHORSEBALLZ!
Believe it or not, Katy never even expected her Juicy J collaboration to gallop this far ahead of the pack!
She humbly admitted:
“This No. 1 is the most unexpected one I’ve ever had. Dark Horse has been a dark horse of a song, since August when the KatyCats voted to release it early on iTunes, before ‘PRISM’ even came out. I’m so thrilled and grateful to have these moments.”
Ha! Dark Horse was a dark horse? You pitch-perfect pun queen, you! We love it! We just can’t believe you thought audiences would say neigh to this incredible track!!
Unconditionally might not have roared to the top of the charts (which, btw, was a bunch of horse manure) like Roar did, but this one was a horse of a different color! Well, if dark is a color.
Either way, we’re glad KP got back on the horse that bucked her and road it all the way to victory!
