Katy Perry's Mobile Game Is A Dud! Find Out Why Katy Perry Pop Isn't Taking Off!

Not every celebrity can crash Apple‘s App Store like Kim Kardashian West!
Katy Perry tried her luck in the world of mobile gaming with the launch of her freemium game Katy Perry Pop!
However, the Firework songstress’ game — in which her digital avatar guides wannabe singers to musical stardom — isn’t taking off as big as expected!
This is the second celeb-themed game from Glu Mobile, which saw mega success after releasing the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game — but apparently gamers would rather learn to be reality stars than pop stars!

As of Monday afternoon, Katy Perry Pop was No. 54 on the free iPhone games in the App Store, and No. 117 on the Google Play chart!
The reviews aren’t helping either. Users commented that the game is glitchy and crashes frequently, while others say it’s a musical knock off of Kim’s game!
Luckily, Katy-Kat is doing fine with or without a successful mobile game under her belt!
As for Katy Perry Pop, maybe the inevitable sequel won’t be as big of a dud?
