This is so scary!!
On Wednesday, Katy Perry was in Malta, performing at Europe’s biggest free, open-air music festival, Isle of MTV Malta. She was the headliner for the festival, and wowed a crowd of thousands with her classic hits — but when she started singing I Kissed A Girl, that’s where things went wrong!
During the performance, Katy climbs into a big inflatable water bottle and dives into the crowd, letting fans bounce and roll her around. What’s supposed to happen is fans push her back toward the stage for a giant straw to drink from the bottle, so she can get back onstage. But things got terrifying for a moment when, during this concert, she was pushed further and further away from the stage. OMG!

Katy can be heard getting a bit panicked as the inflatable gets pushed toward the back of the crowd. She instructs the audience to “get me to that straw,” but that didn’t work immediately. At one point, she shouted:
“Come on, keep it going! … Go back to the stage! Oh my God!”
How scary!
Eventually, after almost five minutes of struggling (!!!), the crowd got her back to the stage. Watch for yourself (below):
