Sounds like Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey better get ready for a country crooner to join the Idol panel!
While it seems like just about EVERYONE and their brothers, mothers and significant others have been “in talks” to nab a judge role on the Fox show, one country singer is thisclose to securing a spot!
Reportedly, Keith Urban has been in talks for weeks with Fox and FremantleMedia execs to star alongside Nicki and Mariah!
Does this mean we’d get to see Nicole Kidman in the audience every week??
Urban is looking at a $3 to $4 million salary to appear as a judge on the show and has already been gearing up to take the seat!
Nicki will supposedly be cut a $8 million paycheck and could be signed on as early as today or even next week!
As for the others rumored to be considered for season twelve? As we previously reported, Nick Jonas is supposedly still in the running, as talks have been “ongoing.”
Wonder who will make the FINAL cut??? Producers better get to deciding soon!!
