Well this is just silly!
Apparently, Kelis isn’t exactly the biggest fan of Katy Perry‘s work.
She reportedly told a UK newspaper:
Katy Perry is crap. It’s just poor pop. Her name might be on her stuff but that doesn’t mean it’s any good.
Psshh, riiight! That’s why she’s tied with Michael Jackson for the most #1 hits off a single album…
UPDATE: We just got word from Kelis’ rep, confirming that Kelis did NOT say anything offensive about Katy. In fact, the rep pointed out she has not done any press in recent weeks, so she couldn’t have said anything about Katy. The quote is false.
