Good thing he didn’t stick to his instincts!
Kellan Lutz of Twilight fame almost passed on the iconic films because of his first impression with screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg‘s first draft based off of the Stephenie Meyer novels.
In a recent interview, he revealed:
├óΓé¼┼ôI didn├óΓé¼Γäót like the script. How scary would a glimmering vampire really be? It just doesn├óΓé¼Γäót make sense.”
Think of how horrible it would’ve been if he hadn’t said yes and decided to pass on the role!
We’re SO glad that Lutz took a leap of faith despite his misgivings with the logic of the screenplay.
He must be, too. As he’s definitely made a shizz load of benjamins since the teenage vampires took over the world.
We’re guessing that moment was one of the few times he was glad he wasn’t Twi-right.
Ha!
