It’s something tons of women go through, but that doesn’t make it any easier!
Last May the 31-year-old British actress and model, Kelly Brook, was five months pregnant when she lost the daughter of her rugby player boyfriend Thom Evans.
The past months Brook has taken the time to grieve for her unborn child. In a recent interview Kelly opened up about her miscarriage, and what’s helped her move on. She says:
“It happens to lots of people, and it’s not such a taboo. It’s just one of those things, and probably the only positive thing to come out of something like that is that you can talk to people about it.”
Brook says she’s glad to talk about her miscarriage. She wants women to know it happens to everyone — and it’s not anyone’s fault. She explains,
“I found that women approached me and wanted to talk about things that they’d been through themselves. I think they probably take comfort in knowing that even though you seem to have a very blessed life, bad things happen to you and it’s not your fault.
Such a positive spin on something so sad!
