Kelly Clarkson’s sure got a LOT to be excited about lately! Love, a successful music career and now, she’s getting the chance to return to where she got her start!
The singing sensation will be starring in a NEW reality competition, Duets, on ABC this summer. And no, there will be NO judges├óΓé¼Γäó panel here — Kelly, along with Robin Thicke, Lionel Richie and Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles, will each personally scour the country to find two singers to duet with!
Then, every week, the celebs will perform in front of a live studio audience with their hand-picked partner.
One winner will be chosen for a recording contract with Hollywood Records! That’s no 5 million-dollar recording contract, but we guess it’s better than nothing!
Is this a new spin on a singing competition or just more of the same?
