Many STILL claim Kelly Clarkson is a closet lesbian, but she doesn’t mind at all!
The singer, who recently got engaged to Brandon Blackstock, is actually flattered by the rumors even though she will never fully understand why they have always been so rampant.
Kelly tells Cosmopolitan:
“People think, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, she├óΓé¼Γäós been single for too long.├óΓé¼Γäó That├óΓé¼Γäós kind of an insult to the gay community. Being single doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean you├óΓé¼Γäóre gay. But I├óΓé¼Γäóm never insulted by it, obviously. I mean, I get hit on by the hottest girls ever. Oh, my god, if I were a lesbian, I would be so in luck. But it├óΓé¼Γäós not just my thing. I├óΓé¼Γäóve always battled for the boys├óΓé¼Γäó team.├óΓé¼┬¥
..And the battle for her forever man wasn’t an easy one to win.
Kelly further explains:
“Usually the guys who hit on me are tools. It’s the ones that don’t hit on you that make you like ‘Why didn’t you ask me out?’ It’s like American Idol auditions: The guys who are the most confident are the horrible ones, and the ones who are good have no confidence at all.”
But all the heartbreak paid off in the end, right?! Brandon is too cute for words!!
