Looks like aside from being a fame whore lover, Kelly Bensimon also has a kind heart.
The former model and The Real Housewives of New York City star held a garage sale this past Sunday featuring items she had in her homes and in her closets from both her East Hampton and Manhattan pads.
And we’re not talking about an ordinary garage sale. Her goodies included clothing, shoes, and accessories from top designer labels.
Several of the pieces still had their original tags.
But to make it even better, the proceeds went to benefit Island Harvest, a charity which fights hunger on Long Island.
And being as PR savvy as she is, she even had her two daughters Sea and Teddy on location who set up a lemonade stand to benefit the East Hampton Library.
Anything for a good cause sounds great to us.
