His words, not ours!
On the hit Netflix show Making A Murderer, prosecutor Ken Kratz successfully convicted Steven Avery of murdering 25-year-old photographer Teresa Halbach.
However, the docuseries painted the now-defense attorney to be an extremely unlikeable character.

Just so y’all know├óΓé¼┬ª he agrees.
In a recent interview with Gothamist, the Wisconsin resident tells comedian Jena Friedman that he is ashamed of how he acted during the highly publicized trial.
He said :

“I was a d*ck├óΓé¼┬ª Some of that was bravado that was necessary for the presentation of the case, but some of that was me. I think it’s important that people understand that I’m not that person anymore.”

The lawyer even reveals he received a ton of hate mail!

“The first three weeks of criticism I received on emails on the Internet kind of went like this, ├óΓé¼╦£Ken you’re a piece of s–t and Steven Avery is innocent. How dare you convict him!’ About a week and a half ago that narrative changed to, ├óΓé¼╦£Ken you’re a piece of s–t’ ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ which didn’t change ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and ├óΓé¼╦£Although Steven Avery may be guilty, we still think the cops may have been involved where he deserves another trial.'”

And what about conspiracy theories that Kratz was the one who killed Halbach?

“That’s really entertaining, actually. Obviously just for their information, I have an alibi for the 31st of October├óΓé¼┬ª That’s such a funny question to answer.”

In a bizarre twist, the interviewer then asks him to play a game of f*ck, marry, kill.
